RNA Placement Program

10 March 2025, Padua – The National Center announces the launch of its RNA Placement Program platform, developed by Fondazione Emblema, to support PhD graduates and researchers currently involved in the National Center to gain a head start in their careers.

The RNA Placement Program is an innovative project designed for PhD students, researchers, post-docs, fellows, research grant holders, and technologists involved in the National Center. The initiative aims to enhance the employability of PhD graduates and researchers while simultaneously building a functional and sustainable model beyond the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

Offering a series of targeted activities to increase participants’ understanding of opportunities in the gene therapy and RNA technology job market, the RNA Placement Program program includes:

  • Coaching: a series of two-day in-person coaching sessions held throughout Italy
  • Assessment Center: 20 skill and professional readiness assessment sessions
  • Virtual Desk: personalized interview preparation and CV review support

Facilitating opportunities to meet companies and industry experts involved in the National Center, the program includes:

  • Recruiting Day: meetings with companies in the National Center network, creating concrete connections between candidates and the job market.
  • Virtual Fair: exclusive online Career Day for participants to schedule virtual interviews.

Guiding start-up and entrepreneurial activities, including different forms of self-employment, the program includes:

  • Contamination Lab: a cycle of 4 full-immersion sessions, each lasting 1.5 days, to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on entrepreneurship
  • Club Deal: an online event where participants can present their business projects to companies and investors

Thanks to a dedicated search engine for participating PhD students, PhD graduates, and researchers, companies can identify candidates based on competence clusters and affiliated universities. Participants can independently update their profiles, including professional experiences and other valuable information for companies.

The RNA Placement Program represents a concrete opportunity to enhance professional skills and create new connections in the job market, providing comprehensive support for the future of Italian researchers.
