Where Research Develops Innovation

The National Center for Gene Therapy and Drugs based on RNA Technology participates in the introductory webinar hosted by the educational enterprise dedicated to promoting human capital development, Fondazione Emblema. Held over several days, the PNRR Live webinar series offers the opportunity for those supported by the European Union National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR in Italian) to introduce themselves in advance of the Forum Expo PNRR scheduled from 21 to 23 October 2024 in Catania, Italy.

Organized to improve the relationship between academic and training institutions and those in the business sector, the webinar focuses on guiding today’s research towards becoming the innovations of tomorrow.  Most commonly perceived as Tech Transfer, building such relationships ensures that the results found within scientific and technological research find their way into the marketplace.  The webinar allows participants to highlight best practices, while sharing targets and ways to engage with the public, especially considering the complexities of the research activities involved.

As a core value of the National Center, developing human capital by investing in a new generation of researchers occurs when engaging with startups, SMEs, companies, and private and public investors.  With over 150 registered guests logged in to learn more, the voices representing the National Center include Foundation Director Elena Quagliato, Innovation Manager Teodelinda Mirabella, and Supervisory Board President Prof. Angela Zampella.  Joining the webinar share how researching gene therapy and drugs based on RNA technology will advance a knowledge-based economy not only for Italy but also for all of Europe.
